Salaried GP – Newbridge Surgery – Sessions 2 sessions per week (Thursday all day) – permanent sessions
As part of the ARRS GP role we are recruiting an enthusiastic Salaried GP to work 2 sessions per week (on a Thursday) to enhance our existing clinical and administrative team at Newbridge Surgery, Wolverhampton.
The post is open to any GP with full GMC registration. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP looking for a different challenge. Ideally we are looking for someone who is an experienced Salaried GP who can work autonomously and who can competently undertake the following tasks:
Face to face consultations / Telephone Consultations / Video Consultations
Triage and signpost patients
Undertake home visits and care home visits when needed
Approving of prescription requests
Deal with relevant Docman / Emis tasks and other correspondence
Referrals to secondary care and other providers
Deal with non NHS work including private medical reports
Supervise registrars when needed
Undertake additional shifts as a locum when needed
Ideally to have a driving licence for home visits
Working until 6:30 pm

Newbridge Surgery has 5964 registered patients. There is opportunity for professional scope and development in this role as we cultivate a learning environment. Salary is in line with BMA salaried GP pay scale reimbursed via ARRS.
